Super REVENTON Pachanga END of the Year Weekend of Shows begins THIS Friday December 30th in Oakland at The W.C. Warehouse!!! We have had an incredibly fun year in 2005 (its not over yet), and were fortunate to be in the company of the most beautiful folks from around the world… WE are very very very grateful to anyone and everyone who has ever been to a show… To those faithful friends whom like to raise pints at live shows (and do so often, cheers), WE thank you… The last show at the Bottom of the Hill was truly great, though a splash bit bloody for my taste… Thank you to Compton SF, Code 4-15, Ramona Downey, and all of the Bottom of the Hill staff for being so nice…

Day 3 of the Bay Area mini tour, which as of yet, has been alot of fun… Balazo18 (SF) was once again a musical ruckus, while yesterday's show in San Jose was an official welcome back show for a homeboy named Pajaro, who is recovering from a stabwound to his chest… We are happy that he is alive, t'was good to see him yesterday, and it was good to be out, despite the cold (beer)… Thank you to everyone who has made it out to one of the shows… It is greatly appreciated!!!

We had a really fun time, both at the Lifesize Mousetrap show in SF, and at the Dia de los Muertos Festival in Fruitvale this past weekend!!! The Mousetrap itself, was an amazing work of art that climactically crushed an 800 pound pumpkin for a bunch of cheering drunks… The Fruitvale show too, was a thing of beauty, with a sea of people, and a row of taco trucks as far as the eye could see… Thank you to all of our beautiful family and friends who showed up early, and stuck around despite the delays and technical dificulties, WE thank you!!!…

We are very excited to be playing 2 FREE shows this week, starting TOMORROW Thursday July 7th in San Jose… First show is at The Caravan Lounge alongside the very funny and talented band Love Songs, while Friday July 8th, we are at Grant and Green in the heart of North Beach (SF), playing alongside Viernes 13 and The People!!! Thursday’s show is destined to be a drunken music fest pachanga while Friday too, has the makings of a true dance party… Show up early on Friday and take a walk around the neighborhood, drop some quarters at the Lusty Lady or drain some bottles in one of the many sketchy alleys… WE have decided to play FIRST on Friday so if you would like to see a bunch of pigs sweat beer, PLEASE SHOW UP EARLY!!!

Thank you to our beautiful family and friends who were present at the Allen Theatre in South Gate!!! It was a gift to see so many old (young) faces once again… Our faithful van “La Cachetona” handled the trip like a true lady, momentarily sporting some rosy cheeks, despite getting slightly hot under the collar… She once again proved her love, and it seems that our relationship is getting even more serious (can somebody say pregnancy test)!!!

The Watsonville Brown Beret show was a beautiful event…
The human barricade that consisted of Mariachubby, Jason and Ramiro Medrano, thankfully did their best to keep the mics, gear and band from getting smashed… However, THAT beautiful night, the pit was heavy, the kids were in full force, and they would not be denied… Despite their best efforts, Mariachubby ended up on the bass drum, mics were all over the place and many bruises were earned that night… We would like to thank the badass kids from Watsonville, Salinas and Santa Cruz for the heartfelt support, along with Here Kitty Kitty, Saúl García, el Mariachi, Ramiro, Jason, The Watsonville Brown Berets, KPFA and of course, Los Dryheavers… Thank you guys…
  
El evento en Watsonville estubo ca-brón… La buena raza llena de energía, amor y resistencia común, bailamos y cantamos todos juntos… Los micrófonos desconectados, cuerpos por todos lados, lleno de ambiente y calor humano, fué un placer participar en este evento… La raza de Watsonville se la rifa por la energía y honestidad que existe entre los jovenes… Gracias a Ramiro Medrano, el Jason y el Mariachi por sacrificar sus cuerpos durante el toquín, gracias a los Brown Berets, Here Kitty Kitty, KPFA, Saúl García, y en especial, Los pinches Dryheavers!!! The next night was back in the City at the new Balazo 18 spot alongside Eskapo, Stoic Frame and Full Moon Partisans… The show was great, and it was a pleasure to be in the company of such beautiful people and good music ( the drinks t’weren’t bad either )… The after party left us destroyed sometime around 5 in the a.m. and so, we stumbled home in the early hours, like a bunch of 9 month old kids, learnin’ how to walk… Thank you thank you thank you to those who were toasting the night away, or howling at the moon along with your faithful plebe… It is GREATLY appreciated…

Lastly and sadly, Bass Wolf of the band Guitar Wolf passed away shortly after returning to Japan upon completion of their tour… We are grateful for the opportunity to have seen them shortly before his passing, and we send his family our sincerest condolence…

Saludos a los trabajadores del mundo…
Greetings to the workers of the world…
 
Salimos hace unas semanas, con todo nuestro equipo, sin donde tocar, por la ciudad, en busca de donde pudiamos hacer ruido… Con un 12 de chelas navegando nuestro viaje, fue el quinto lugar que visitamos donde en fin, pudimos tocar 15 minutos en chinga… La semana después ( Lunes), lo hicimos de nuevo, ( pero esta vez con 24 heladitas ), y otra vez tubimos el honor y buena fortuna de tocar…
