Greetings dear family and friends, San Francisco, Oakland, Bay Area and beyond…!!
We just wanted to inform everybody of a fundraising campaign that has commenced, to help save a local cultural institution, that is in danger of closing its doors (like many others)…We first played the original “Balazo Gallery” on 24th Street (the original manifestation of what is now Submission Gallery) sometime in 2001, and have since seen many venues come and go, that are sorely missed, as the artistic (and cultural) void in San Francisco continues to expand…The proprietor Txutxo has supported so many darn causes, that we felt it necessary to request support on their behalf, for those that are able to contribute to this worthy cause…We thank you for your time and consideration, and hope that you will consider supporting this underrepresented voice, that continues to be threatened by the changing landscape of this City…

Saludos familia de la Bahía y del mundo…Les queriamos informar acerca de una campaña que acaba de iniciar, para apoyar el centro cultural “Submission Gallery” en la ciudad de San Francisco…Con los cambios que siguen pasando en esta ‘inche ciudad, y el lucro que existe en sacar los pobres de sus vivencias y espacios cultulares, es muy importante que apoyemos esta causa, como otra forma de resistencia (en nuestro humilde opinion)…El compañero Txutxo tiene una gran historia de apoyo y participación en el desarollo artístico de comunidades que muchas veces no tienen voz, espacio, o oportunidad de expresión…Esta es la razón principal por cual sentimos que es muy importante pedir apoyo, para mantener el foro donde toda la gente (sin exclusión) puede resonar sus ideas y su realidad…Muchas gracias por apoyar lo alternativo, subterraneo, autogestionado, y creativo…Fuerza y aprecio para todos, gracias por la consideración, y como siempre, seguimos en la lucha…
